How to Replace Motherboard of Anycubic Photon Mono 2

Step 1: Remove the printer's back cover and screws

Use an M2.0 hex key to loosen the screws securing the rear cover, and remove the cover downward. Use the M3.0 hex key to loosen and remove the screws that fix the base shell of the printer.

Step 2: Unplug and disconnect the wires

Unplug the limit switch connected to the main board and the motor wiring plug. Tear off a corner of the black glue on the edge of the back cover. Then forcefully separate the printer base shell from the edge of the hand and rest.

Step 3: Remove the motherboard wiring plug and fixing screws

Separate the LCD screen on the main board and the FPC cable of the control screen. Remove the remaining wiring plugs on the motherboard one by one. Use an M2.0 hex key to loosen and remove the screws that secure the motherboard.

Step 4: Install the new motherboard

Replace the motherboard and install the new one with an M2.0 hex key. Install the wiring plugs back on the new motherboard one by one. Connect the FPC wires connecting the control panel and LCD panel back to the motherboard.

Step 5: Reconnect the plugs back and reattach the printer's back cover

Install the base of the printer. Then connect the motor and limit switch wiring plugs back to the main board. Use an M2.0 hex key to install and fix the rear cover. Use the M3.0 hex key to install and fix the base shell of the printer.
