How to Replace Monochrome LCD Screen for Anycubic Photon Mono X

Step 1: Remove the old monochrome LCD screen. Remove the black tape around the screen. Please be careful not to damage it, you will need to use it later. Remove the metal cover on the screen cable. Remove the cable and remove the old Photon Mono X screen.
Step 2: Use an M2.5 Allen key to unscrew the screws on the front decorative panel of the Photon Mono X. Unscrew the screws on the front panel of the Photon Mono X lower with an M2 Allen key. Remove the front panel of the lower cover.
Step 3: Remove the FPC flexible cable on the core board. Remove the FPC flexible cable on the motherboard. Use an M2.5 Allen key to unscrew the screws on the adapter board, and then take it out. Then we can start to install a new monochrome LCD screen for Anycubic Photon Mono X.
Step 4: Take out the new adapter board and cable and install it, pay attention to the direction of cable installation. Fix the adapter board on the printer again with an M2.5 Allen key. If the translucent glass is stained, please wipe it clean. Connect the cable to the new screen.
Step 5: Tear off the protective film on the screen, place the screen on the groove, reattach the metal cover, and remove the protective film again. Re-install the black tape around the screen. Re-install the FPC flexible cable to the motherboard.
Step 6: Re-install the FPC flexible cable to the core board. Re-tighten the screws on the front panel of the Photon Mono X lower cover with an M2 Allen key. Re-tighten the screws on the front decorative panel of the Photon Mono X with an M2.5 Allen key.
Step 7: Test whether the screen is exposed normally. Plug in the power cord, and power on the printer. Click Tools, Detection, Next on the home menu. If the screen can be exposed normally, the monochrome LCD screen replacement of the screen is successful.
