How to Replace the Hot Bed for Anycubic Kobra Neo

  • Tools: M2.5 hex key, Flat-blade screwdriver, Hot bed, Magnetic sticker

Step 1: Remove the bottom cover of the printer, and pull out the wiring plug.

Use an M2.5 hex key to loosen and remove the screws securing the bottom cover. Remove the bottom cover and unplug the cooling fan wiring plug. Unplug the hot bed wiring plug. Then use a flat-blade screwdriver to loosen and remove the screws that fix the heating bed wiring.

Step 2: Disconnect the heated bed cable and remove the hot bed.

Use an M2.5 hex key to loosen the cable management clip screws on the printer. Take the connecting wire of the hot bed along the reserved hole in the printer. Remove the build platform and use the M2.5 hex key to loosen and remove the screws that fix the hot bed.

Step 3: Install the wiring card slot on the new hot bed.

Use a flat-blade screwdriver to loosen and remove the screws that fix the wiring slot. Remove the wiring card slot. Remove the hot bed protective film. Install the wiring card slot on the new heated bed, and secure with a flat-blade screwdriver.

Step 4: Install and secure the new hotbed.

Remove the protective film from the sticker and place the sticker on the hot bed. Use an M2.5 hex key to install the fixed hot bed. Put the build platform back on the hot bed.

Step 5: Plug the cable back in to connect the hot bed to the motherboard.

Pass the hot bed cable through the hole into the printer and place the cable into the card slot. Use an M2.5 hex key to fix the cable management clip. Connect the hot bed cable back to the motherboard, and fix it with a flat-blade screwdriver.

Step 6: Reinstall and secure the bottom cover of the printer.

Reconnect the wiring plug of the cooling fan. Use the M2.5 hex key to re-install and fix the bottom cover of the printer. After that, please leveling your Anycubic Kobra Neo.
